The Descent: Part 2 (2009)

The Descent: Part 2 poster
The Descent: Part 2
The plan was to go watch Avatar but instead we ended up with tickets to The Descent: Part 2. It is a horror flick and Rated R for strong bloody horror violence, grisly images, terror and language. 554 votes has rated this movie 6.5/10 at The Internet Movie Database (imdb.com). My rate at the end of this post.

If you liked The Descent (2005) it’s possible that you’ll like The Descent: Part 2 as well.

Sarah Carter survived the caving expedition (in The Descent) and the sequel continues the story as she emerges from the Appalachian confused and with no memory from what she’s experienced. Forced to help locate her missing companions she is back to the depts where she starts to remember the horror.

I like the first movie and the second. To me these are good horror movies and the monsters scare the shit out of me :-) . Although part 2 has a confusing end.

Rating: ★★★★☆

Jason Voorhees

I stopped by this little shop in Old Town. A day earlier when with the stroller heading for the City I saw this Jason Voorhees (i don’t think he need any introduction) action figure placed in the window of the ”old comics” shop. When home I told ”A” about it who is a fan of horror characters (fictional and real) and he showed interest. I decided to get it for him but as soon as he had got it out of the box our 14 months old son claimed it. He liked it so now it’s his instead. :-)

Youthful Essence

Youthful Essence

I’m no TV shopper, normally. It’s possible that I’m being naive but my logic is that such a public person that Emily Procter (CSI Miami) is would not represent any product she does not believe in which is my reason for taking a chance on this product.

Before I purchased Youthful Essence I searched online for reviews from regular people and I found that people generally had a positive experience from trying Youthful Essence. Negative reviews came in connection with adult acne and extremely sensitive skin. Basically if your skin is very sensitive then you should use this product with caution or not at all and if your skin breaks out it could make your acne worsen. The brochure that you get with your initial shipment also confirms this. My advice is to follow directions thoughrouly.

More read worthy information can be found on the faq section at youthfulessence.com.

Another thing rated poorly by reviewers is when ordering Youthful Essence you automatically sign up for refill every 3rd month. A manuel cancellation is required.

Youthful Essence according to youthfullessence.com:

Youthful Essence® is a patented personal microdermabrasion system that gently exfoliates away dull, dry surface cells to reveal fresh, more radiant skin beneath. Starting with the first application, you’ll watch as visible imperfections – fine lines, age spots, enlarged pores, superficial scars, sun damage and more – seemingly fade away. Youthful Essence® leaves your skin renewed, restored and rejuvenated…without the expense or inconvenience of a spa treatment.

Personal reason for this purchase: Motherhood is not flattering my appearance, age cought up with me (I used to look younger than my real age).

I’m just on my second day so I can’t give a review at this point. Up to now I see only good results.
