2012 is an Action Sci-Fi telling the adventure of worldwide apocalyptical earthquakes and the struggle of the survivors. Starring actors such as Woody Harrelson and Danny Glover it has a rating of 6.o/10 over at The Internet Movie Database.
Story:
The worldwide geophysical team member Dr. Adrian Helmsely (Chiwetel Ejiofor) learn that the earth is heating up from investigating the effect of radiation. The movie follow people trying to survive while volcano eruptions and earthquakes havoc around them. One of them is Jackson Curtis (John Cusack), divorced and father of two, as he discovers the same information as Dr. Adrian Helmsley while meeting Charlie Frost (Woody Harrelson), an enthusiastic doomsday believing radio show talkhost.
My verdict and my rate:
2012 has awesome special effects but it is nothing more. At least it isn’t if you like a movie with intellectual substance, also there is no interesting back-story. Best seen on large screens like those in movie theaters to fully enjoy the special effects. I could rate the special effects a 10 however the movie recieve a 1.

If you liked The Descent (2005) it’s possible that you’ll like The Descent: Part 2 as well.
Sarah Carter survived the caving expedition (in The Descent) and the sequel continues the story as she emerges from the Appalachian confused and with no memory from what she’s experienced. Forced to help locate her missing companions she is back to the depts where she starts to remember the horror.
I like the first movie and the second. To me these are good horror movies and the monsters scare the shit out of me
. Although part 2 has a confusing end.

Christian Bale dropped an impressive (and horrifying) 63 pounds for the role as Trevor Reznik, an industrial worker with insomnia who hasn’t slept for a year and slowly begins to doubt his sanity as bizarre things start happening. I won’t reveal the plot and anyone who is interested can voluntarily click this link and to read the plot summary for The Machinist at The Internet Movie Databse.
The production designers had to painstakingly re-create the look and feel of Los Angeles with many ”everyday Americana” items in both interior AND exterior shoots. This included cigarettes, alcohol, street signs, traffic signals, public telephones, retail signage, automobiles, license plates, and also shooting in what writer Scott Kosar called ”some of the worst areas of Barcelona”.

Verse 1:
I’m a train wreck in the morning
I’m a bitch in the afternoon
Every now and then without warning
I can be really mean towards you
I’m a puzzle yes indeed
Ever-complex in every waaay
And all the pieces aren’t even in the box
And yet, you see the picture clear as day
Chorus:
I don’t know why you love me
And that’s why I love you
You catch me when I fall
Accept me flaws and all
And that’s why I love you
And that’s why I looove you
And that’s why I looooooove (hmm)
Verse 2:
I neglect you when I’m working (ha ha ha uhn)
When I need a attention
I tend to nag (oh oh ha uhn)
I’m a host of imperfection (ha ha ha uhn)
And you see past all that (hm hm uhn uhhhh uhn)
I’m a peasant by some standards (ha ha ha ha uhn)
But in your eyes I’m a queen (oh oh ha uhn)
You see potential in all my flaws (ha ha ha uh uh)
And that’s exactly what I need
Chorus:
I don’t know why you love me
And that’s why I love you
You catch me when I fall
Accept me flaws and all
And that’s why I looove you
And that’s why I loooooove you
And that’s why I looooooooooove you (ah)

Thriller from 2009 written by Stephen King starring Christian Slater and Emmanuelle Vaugier. Rated 5.9/10 out of 904 votes at imdb, I think deserves a higher rating than that.
Dolan’s Cadillac is the story about one young mans attempts to seek to avenge his wife’s death after she is murdered by a Las Vegas mobster. His wife witnesses an execution in the desert and is then targeted by the mobsters who commited it, notorious Vegas crime lord Jimmy Dolan who’s vast wealth stems from his human trafficking operations. Dolan succeeds in having Elizabeth killed before she can testify against him and hence Dolan goes free, and Robinson must avenge Elizabeth’s death.
It’s not the usual revenge flick with much action and nothing more. This movie had originality and I can recommend it.
